Our Spring / Summer lawn fertiliser is formulated to give your lawn strong blades and greener growth.
It will provide nutrients to your lawn for up to 3 months, to help your grass survive and stay super green during the hotter parts of the year.
Helps avoid growth spurts in the lawn by slowly releasing the nitrogen (more on this below).
For best results, you should use this product twice a year to feed your lawn in the Spring or in Summer.
This products has reduced risk of scorch because 40% of the nitrogen is coated with specialist slow release technology.
Don't do a second application within 3 months of the first because it takes 3 months for the slow release nitrogen o be used up by the soil.
Apply when the weather is fair. It's best to apply in the morning or evening, when the soil is moist from dew.
Don't apply if frost is forecast and be careful not to get caught by late Spring frost. Don't use this product if you've recently sown a new lawn from scratch.
Use our pre seed fertiliser instead. Use this product as part of a yearly programme, which should include our Autumn and Winter products as well as a liquid feed supplement boost.
As this is a slow release fertiliser, the Nitrogen, which creates a thicker lawn will be released over a 3 month period.
Meaning there won't be any sudden boosts in growth. The best thing is that all parts of your lawn will grow at the same rate, giving a better overall look.
It's also more convenient using a feed, which releases it's nutrients over a sustained period (like this one) because you won't need to feed the lawn again for another 3 months. apart from a liquid supplement booster.
Some nitrogen will be released immediately and the grass will become greener and thicker with a couple of weeks.

The simplest method is using a spreader.
There are a few different spreaders you can get and the most common are either hand held or a spreader with wheels if you have a large garden.
Measure out the correct area on your lawn and sprinkle the granules evenly across the marked out area.
It’s a good idea to start from one corner of the lawn and work your way across.
Application rate: 30g per metre squared
The granules in this product are non-toxic, so it won't be fatal if ingested by dogs or cats.
However, the granules also won't be good for their digestive system if too much of it is ingested.
The slow-release nitrogen will likely sit in the soil bed for a few weeks, so if you're concerned that your pet will eat it off the lawn, then I'd recommend choosing our 100% organic Spring/Summer feed, which will be absorbed into the soil quicker.
